Traci specializes in Vinyasa and Yin yoga, which are complimentary styles of yoga that address the muscles and tendons (vinyasa flow) as well as connective tissue and ligaments (yin yoga). Customized yoga classes to meet the specific needs and goals of individual clients is also a primary focus of her work. Vinyasa is a flowing style of yoga where movements and breath are connected and flow from one pose to the next. Poses are sequenced in a way that flows safely and naturally, working up to a peak pose and then gently descending back down to resting. Yin yoga takes carefully planned poses that address one or two areas of the body specifically for each class. Poses are held for 3 to 8 minutes in order to access the opening of the more fibrous connective tissue and ligaments that are not necessarily affected in vinyasa. Custom/Private yoga is carefully planned to meet individual clients looking for improvements in pain relief, recovery from injury, weight loss, or any other of the many specific goals that yoga can address.
